Welcome to Road Ready. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Road Ready website, web app, and mobile apps (together, the “Service”), operated by AMT LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Road Ready Is

Road Ready is an independent study tool that helps you prepare for your state’s written (knowledge) driving test through practice questions, mock tests, explanations, and review tools. Road Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any state Department of Motor Vehicles or government agency. We do our best to keep questions accurate and aligned with official handbooks, but you should always confirm current rules with your state’s official driver handbook. We do not guarantee that using Road Ready will result in passing any test.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You may use Road Ready as a guest. To sync your progress across devices, you can create an account. Authentication is handled by our identity provider, Clerk, including optional sign-in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Purchases and Refunds

Road Ready is offered as a one-time purchase of $7.99 (or the then-current price shown at checkout), with no recurring subscription. Applicable taxes may apply. Where we offer a money-back guarantee, the terms of that guarantee are shown at the point of purchase. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to those stores’ terms and refund policies.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own test preparation. You agree not to:

When you sign in, your guest practice data (history, bookmarks, and scores) may be claimed by your account so it follows you across devices. If a different account signs in on the same device, locally stored guest data may be cleared so that users’ data does not mix. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its questions, explanations, design, logos, and software, is owned by AMT LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content reflects the most current testing requirements in your state.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMT LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including failing a test. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm to us or other users.
