This Privacy Policy explains how AMT LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Road Ready — our website, web app, and mobile apps (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. If you create an account, our authentication provider, Clerk, processes your sign-in details. Depending on how you sign in, this may include your email address and basic profile information from Google or Apple. We do not store your social-login passwords.

Study data. We collect information about how you use the Service — such as your practice history, bookmarks, scores, streaks, and progress — so we can save and sync it to your account.

Device and usage data. We may collect standard technical information such as device type, app version, and basic analytics about how the Service is used, to keep it reliable and to improve it.

Payment data. Purchases are processed by our payment providers or by the Apple App Store / Google Play. We do not store full payment card numbers.

2. Guest Use and Account Sync

You can use Road Ready as a guest, with your data stored locally on your device and working fully offline. Signing in is what unlocks cloud sync — your practice history, bookmarks, and scores then follow you across devices. When you sign in, existing guest data on that device may be claimed by your account. If a different account signs in on the same device, locally stored guest data may be cleared so that different users’ data is never mixed. Our API server verifies your authenticated session before syncing.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
Save and sync your study progress across devices;
Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
Process purchases and provide support;
Understand how the Service is used so we can make it better.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service — such as Clerk (authentication), our hosting and payment providers, and the app stores — and only as needed to provide the Service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our Service.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also continue to use Road Ready as a guest without an account.

7. Children’s Privacy

Road Ready is intended for people preparing for a driving knowledge test. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that violates applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including authenticated session verification before any sync. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
